General attitudes toward prayer (other)

The following are individual answers written in under the option for “other.” There were 13 respondents who submitted answers to this question.

Prayer is our connection to the universe. It is both how we contribute ro it and how it changes us.

Prayer is making space to feel and communicate with God.

Prayer is asking for guidance so that we are pointed in the right direction.

I believe that prayer is our personal time with God. It is an opportunity to listen to God while voicing the concerns that he already knows about.

Prayer is our way to have a healthy relationship with God through communication.

Prayer is our way of thanking God and letting him know what troubles us.

Prayer is our way of communicating with God in general.

Prayer is about communicating with the Lord about what you desire and a way to align our hearts with the Lord.

It is the link between the physical and spiritual that allows thoughts and feelings to be both received and given.

Prayer is exercising the “gift of causality.”

Prayer is a conversation with God.

Prayer is finding God in ourselves.

Prayer helps us focus on God and turn our thoughts outward.
